Inspiration for my work comes from various sources. Nature plays a big role in my creative process. I am constantly amazed by the stunning landscapes that surround us, from the towering peaks of mountains to the vast expanse of the ocean. Hiking in the mountains, in particular, provides a sense of perspective and tranquility that translates into my photography. I aim to capture the grandeur and majesty of these landscapes, as well as the intimate moments of quiet contemplation they inspire.
I also find inspiration in time spent at the beach. The rhythmic crashing of the waves, the warmth of the sun on my skin, and the salty breeze all serve to invigorate my senses and spark my creativity. Beaches remind me of the importance of simplicity and the beauty of minimalism, principles that guide my work.
My friends and family are another significant source of inspiration. Their laughter, their stories, their shared moments of joy and sorrow, all find their way into my photography. I seek to capture the essence of these relationships, the bonds that tie us together, and the love we share.
New experiences are always a driving force behind my work. Whether it's traveling to a new country, trying a new cuisine, or simply meeting new people, I find that these experiences broaden my perspective and provide fresh ideas for my photography.
Lastly, I find solace in the familiar. There's a certain comfort in revisiting familiar places and seeing them in a new light. This sense of familiarity, coupled with a renewed perspective, often leads to unexpected moments of inspiration.
On Sundays you'll find me watching Below Deck and sleeping in until 10am.
There are a bunch of things in life that tickle my fancy, fill my days with joy and spark my creativity like a box full of fireworks. Numero uno? My hubby - he’s my co-pilot on this crazy adventure we call life and my biggest cheerleader. We've been on this roller coaster together, growing stronger with every twist and turn.
Next up, my two fur-babies, Buddy and Frankie. They're like little balls of sunshine, bursting with energy and affection. They add the 'home' to our house and turn every outing into a tail-wagging adventure.
Cooking? Oh, it's not just a hobby, it's my culinary sandbox. The kitchen is where I play, experiment and occasionally (read: often) make a mess. Each ingredient is a puzzle piece, and putting them together to whip up something yummy is my happy dance. It's my way of creating edible love and, dare I say, a dash of genius.
Now, let's talk about travelling, the international kind. It’s like a jolt of electricity for my soul. Diving headfirst into a new culture, scaling new landscapes, every journey is a box full of surprises. It stretches my mind, tickles my creativity, and fills my camera roll with an endless source of inspiration.
