Film photography is somewhat of a lost art. With the introduction and rise of digital the process of taking photos with film, waiting to get it developed before you see the finished product seems so labour intensive.

I remember taking photos as a teenager with disposable cameras, so excited to get them developed and arrange them in frames donned with flowers and words ‘friends’.

I decided to relive that by buying an old Pentax film camera and doing some experimenting. And I have to say, I’m hooked!

I’m so in love I’m thinking of introducing them into my sessions, dedicating a roll (on top of digital) to see what magic we can create, what do you think?
