Winter Wonderland

June 24, 2018

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Finally the weather in the Canberra region is cold enough that we’re getting snow around our surrounding mountains. I love winter and even more so I love snow. I will drive hours just to see it, feel it and photograph it. Maybe that’s because I grew up in the Northern Territory so snow is this mystical thing I only ever saw in American Christmas movies, or maybe I’m just on of those people who loves being cold to my bones.

So recently as the snow conditions hit I called up my best friend (who is always up for a drive!) and we headed into Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve to chase snow, and it did not disappoint. While it wasn’t completely covered in snow, there was enough of a winter wonderland for me to get the camera out.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2624″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]

A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight walking in a winter wonderland.
